下北沢天狗まつり
節分には厄除けとして豆をまき、「鬼は外！」と叫んで厄払いをするのが習わしです。
しかし、下北沢天狗まつりでは、「福は内」と3回言いながら豆をまき、「鬼は外」とは言いません。
これは、福が充満することで鬼が退散すると考えられているためです。
また、天狗は家内安全、商売繁盛、運気上昇、受験合格など、人々の願いを叶えてくれるとされています。
At Setsubun, beans are traditionally scattered as a way of expelling bad luck while people shout “Oni-wa-soto!” or “Demons outside!” to chase away evil spirits. However, at the Shimokitazawa Tengu Festival we scatter the beans while saying “Fuku-wa-uchi” or “Good Luck/Fortune inside” three times and never say “Demons outside”. The reason behind this is that it is believed that evil naturally dissipates in an atmosphere that is full of happiness.
Furthermore, the Tengu (a form of spirit or demon themselves) are believed to realize people’swishes relating to things like family safety, prosperity in business, luck and success in exams.
天狗
天狗は、日本の民間伝承に登場する超自然的な生き物です。
天狗は日本の民話に登場する超自然的な生き物で、守護神として尊敬され恐れられています。
下北沢駅近くの下北沢一番街商店街では、毎年冬に「下北沢天狗まつり」が開催されます。これは下北沢の節分祭です。節分とは、新しい季節の始まりの前日のこと。節分とは「季節を分ける」という意味で、日本では一般的に冬に行われ、春の訪れや新しい生命の誕生を祝うものです。
Tengu are supernatural creatures in Japanese folklore, they are respected and feared as protectors and guardian deities.
The Shimokitazawa Tengu Festival is held every winter in the Shimokitazawa Ichibangai shopping district near Shimokitazawa Station. This is Shimokitazawa’s Setsubun festival. Setsubun is the day before the beginning of a new season. Setsubun means “dividing the seasons” and is generally held in winter in Japan to celebrate the coming of spring and the birth of new life.
天下一天狗道中
天下一天狗道中では、大天狗や烏天狗が、福豆をまきながら下北沢一番街商店街を練り歩きます。
During “Tenkaichi Tengu Dochu” parade, Daitengu and Crow tengu parade through the Shimokitazawa shopping street while scattering lucky beans.
烏天狗道中前夜露払いの儀
天狗まつり「天下一天狗道中」の前夜祭として、夜間営業の飲食店を中心に烏天狗様
ご一行様が山伏の法螺貝、天狗太鼓とともに出没。お店の中で豆まきを行う。

天下一天狗道中
大天狗・烏天狗を中心に山伏・福男・福女がご利益のある福豆をまきながら、商店街を練り歩きます。
その最後尾には、大きな天狗のお面を載せた天狗面車（高さ3m、幅2m）を従え、イベントを
更に盛り上げてくれます。

ゲーム開催時間 下北沢一番街商店街事務所 13:00～16:00
〜ゲーム参加までの流れ〜
１. お買い物ラリー
チラシのマップに掲載されている一番街のお店でお買い物して、お店の方にスタンプを押してもらう。
２. ポイントラリー
当日、ラリーポイントに設置されたスタンプを各１つずつ合計２つ、台紙に押す。
３. スタンプ３つ集めたら下北沢一番街事務所へGO！
ゲームに挑戦して、当日発表のラッキーグラム数と見事に合えばピタリ賞！誤差±２ｇ以内ならニアピン賞！
また、参加者全員には福豆・福銭をプレゼント！
